Refund Policy

Effective date: July 26, 2026

The Season Pass is a one-time purchase for a service you should be able to try without risk. This policy is short on purpose.

1. The 14-day guarantee

Within 14 days of purchase, if you have used 3 or fewer paid reviews, you get a full refund — no questions asked. Email support@getsecondread.com from your account address, or request the refund directly through Creem, our payment provider.

2. After 14 days, or heavier use

Past the 14-day window, or if you have used more than 3 paid reviews, refunds are handled case by case. Second Read is run by one person; we read every request and we will be fair. If the service did not do what this site says it does, say so and we will make it right.

3. If our data let you down

We compile school prompts and deadlines from official sources, with source links and last-verified dates on every page. If a data error on our side — a wrong deadline, for example — materially affects you, contact us. Making it right comes first; the refund conversation comes second.

4. How refunds are processed

Refunds are processed by Armitage Labs OÜ (trading as Creem), our merchant of record, back to the original payment method. They typically arrive within 5 to 10 business days, depending on your bank.

5. The free tier

The prompt database and your first complete review are free and require no payment, so there is nothing to refund. If you are unsure whether Second Read is for you, use the free review first.
