The school's published AI policy
It is Hopkins' policy that you may use AI tools for brainstorming or refining ideas before the writing process begins and for basic proofreading of your own writing, such as spelling and grammar review, but all material submitted within the application must be your own original work. Submitting "the substantive content or output of an artificial intelligence platform, technology, or algorithm" is not permissible and is considered an instance of application fraud in accordance with Common Application policies.
